Annual Flower Show 2012

The Annual Flower Show of the Empress Garden will be held from Jan 20 to Jan 22, 2012. Apart fom beautiful floral arrangements, the show also includes other attractions. To encourage awareness in young minds, the Flower Show also holds a drawing competition for children. More than a 1000 students from various schools participate in this competition. The garden also organizes discourses on various topics related to botany during the show. The show was started again since 1997, and attracts many nature enthusiasts from all parts of the city.

Some other attractions include bonsai trees, Japanese floral arrangements, etc.

The show will stay open from 9 AM to 8 PM on all the three days (Jan 20 to Jan 22).
